Note: The opinions expressed herein are solely those of the author. Any resemblance to real librarians (living or dead, or somewhere in between) or real libraries, may be a coincidence - but probably not.

Biblia, the Warrior Librarian, was created by A.B.Credaro. The practice of Warrior Librarianship is common, and therefore quite possibly in the public domain. As such, it is likely to be exempt from any copyright restrictions. However, this does not limit Warrior Librarian Weekly, its agents, employees, heirs, spouses, family pets, or others connected with the zine, from trying to make an easy buck from its use.

All material on this site was written by A.B. Credaro unless otherwize stated. Requests for permission to publish or circulate should be directed to same.

STEREOTYPE REVERSAL
Librarian Barbie a reality
Barbie In a bid to become more socially responsible (and maybe make bigger sales), Barbie Products is about to release the third of its "I can Be" Career Series - a successor to Art Teacher Barbie, and Doctor Barbie.

You can visit the site and cast your vote (near bottom of page). Interestingly, whilst 85% of parents voted for Librarian Barbie, only 37% of kids favored an Information Professional doll over the Architect or Policewoman Barbie alternatives.
At this time, it is not known if the Librarian Barbie will have optional accessories such a little plastic book cart or sensible shoes. There is no mention of the possibility of a Cataloguer Ken, or a Shelving Skipper.

The Californian School Library Association situation still stands at an emailed request for an expression of interest. Stand back, America, Biblia could be with you by this time next year...
